Terms of Service

Text Shop is an independent shopping-assistance service that helps customers find and buy products by text message. Text Shop is not Amazon and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon or any other retailer. We are not an authorised representative, agent, or partner of any retailer.

You describe what you are looking for by text. We use technology, including automated systems, together with our staff to search for suitable products and send you product information, pricing, and, when available, a product image. Recommendations are suggestions only and are not advice or a guarantee of suitability.

You agree to provide accurate information, including your name, delivery details, and the details of what you want to buy. You are responsible for reviewing each recommendation before approving it, and for the accuracy of the delivery information you give us. You must be legally able to enter into a purchase.

Product titles, descriptions, images, details, and prices come from retailers and other sources. We do not manufacture or control the products and cannot guarantee that product information is complete, accurate, or current.

Prices and availability can change between the time we send you a recommendation and the time a purchase is made. A product may sell out, change price, or become unavailable. If the price differs materially from what you approved, we may contact you before completing the purchase or may not complete it at all.

We do not purchase anything until you approve it by text. Your approval applies to the specific product and price we sent you. Approvals are recorded in our system as part of your order history.

After you approve a recommendation, your request moves into our purchasing workflow and our staff complete the purchase from a third-party retailer. You will receive text updates about the order. Purchases are subject to the retailer's own terms, shipping times, and policies.

Once a purchase has been placed with a retailer, we may not be able to change the item, quantity, or delivery address. Text us as soon as possible if something needs to change and we will tell you what is still possible.

You may cancel a request at any time before the purchase is placed. After a purchase has been placed, cancellations, returns, and refunds are subject to the policies of the retailer that sold the product. We will assist where we reasonably can, but we cannot guarantee a cancellation, return, or refund.

Text Shop uses third-party retailers, marketplaces, shipping carriers, and technology providers to fulfil customer requests and operate the service. We are not responsible for their acts, omissions, products, delays, or policies.

Your consent to receive SMS and MMS messages is obtained when you send a text message to Text Shop, not merely by visiting or browsing this website. By texting Text Shop, you agree to receive SMS and MMS messages related to your use of the service, including product recommendations, product images, questions about your requests, order information you requested, order confirmations, order status updates, and customer support messages. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.

• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, to the extent permitted by law.

The Text Shop name, website, and software are owned by us or our licensors. Third-party brand names, product names, and images belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify products. You may not copy, resell, or reuse our content without permission.

You agree not to use the service to:

• Request illegal, restricted, hazardous, or prohibited items.
• Provide false identity, payment, or delivery information.
• Harass, abuse, or threaten our staff.
• Interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.

We may suspend or end service to anyone who violates these terms.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that recommendations will meet your expectations.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Text Shop and its owners, staff, and providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising out of your use of the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid to us for the transaction giving rise to the claim.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, and we may update these terms. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
